    Prince William Sound, defined by abundant coastal wildlife and glaciated fjords, is a large, undeveloped coastal wilderness ideal for multi-day and multi-week sea kayaking expeditions. The coastline is a semi-circular ring of large glaciated mountains (Chugach Mountain Range).

    In addition to the typically-guided coastlines near towns in the area, there are  less visited, glaciated bays that provide superb paddling as well as many uninhabited, narrow twisting fjords surrounded by densely forested and heavily glaciated mountains.

    Our backountry planners have paddled and camped extensively for over 20 years throughout much of Prince William Sound and can provide detailed advice about ideal paddling areas, beach landings / camping locations and emergency communication with marine vessels and bush planes in the area.
